Juanita Ignacio, Director
Ms. Juanita joined Creative Kids Community Center in 2005. Having worked for the Baltimore County Public School system, the US Census Bureau, and the Family Resource Center, Ms. Juanita currently leads Creative Kids Community Center in meeting community needs. Ms. Juanita is a Goucher College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. She earned a Global Management Master of Business Administration, and completed her coursework towards a doctorate in education in organizational leadership.
Lois Beverley, Program Assistant
Mrs. Beverley is an accomplished K-12 Reading Specialist certified by Johns Hopkins University. She is a Coppin State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, and a Master of Science in Mental Retardation. After teaching Reading to elementary and middle school students in the Baltimore City Public School system for 12 years, Mrs. Beverley went onto tutoring and teaching at Sylvan Education Solutions, and Education Station. Mrs. Beverley has been with working with the first and second graders at Creative Kids since 2010, and enjoys attending and participating in church, theatre, and cultural events.
A Baltimore County Public School para-educator working closely with special populations since 2008, Ms. Lisa supports Creative Kid’s afterschool program throughout the school, and instructs the summer activities program. Prior to joining Creative Kids, Ms. Lisa was employed as an IEP Assistant for St. Elizabeth’s School. Ms. Lisa enjoys sharing knowledge of interests with the students, including urban farming, ‘critters’, and science.
Mr. Josh, Creative Kids’ latest staff addition, was hired in 2017 to assist with afterschool programming. He competed internships in children’s ministry, and visual and music technology. Mr. Josh also volunteered for children’s church for four years. With a passion for music, Mr. Josh is looking forward to sharing his skills with the students.
