Welcome to Creative Kids, Inc.’s official community resource center website. As a nonprofit organization, Creative Kids Community Center’s ability to serve is a reflection of the relationships that we are very fortunate and privileged to enjoy and share.
After registering with Verizon’s Volunteer Program, a program to increase partnership between Verizon and community organizations, Creative Kids was given the opportunity to realize the completion of our website. We are very thankful for the dedication, generosity, foresight, and talent of our website angel. We would also like to express our gratitude to all of our funders, contributors, and volunteers. With you, we are able to pursue our mission to help the community.
Creative Kids is assertively setting our sights on worthy goals, is highly motivated to lead, and is diligently pursuing resources that will benefit Baltimore County and Baltimore City residents. In the coming new year, we will provide information to help make the community stronger. In response to the growing demand for financial assistance, and the growing interest in innovative education and employment-based activities, we will be launching new programs and services that we hope will satisfy our community’s wants and needs. Both initiatives will showcase Creative Kids’ successful nonprofit business model. One program in development, Sunshine and Bag of Chips (SaBoC), is an intergenerational program in honor and memory of our first Director, Pam Johnson, who dedicated herself to Creative Kids, Inc. for 12 years.
We ask that you join us. Watch for more opportunities. We encourage everyone to think about donating and what it could mean to someone waiting for a life-enhancing or life-changing experience. Your decision to help support Creative Kids could mean a second chance for a middle school student with tutoring, or a new immigrant with English classes, or a parent with a special needs toddler, or a guardian grandparents with after school programming for their grandchild, or a household needing utility assistance. It is my hope that you will feel inspired to reach out, participate, volunteer, contribute, learn — get involved.
Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about our services and programs. By reviewing this information, you are taking a positive step and potentially will make real social impact on your community. Thank you to all of our volunteers, board members, service-learning students, partners, interns, and donors over the years. We look forward to continuing serving the community and developing our partnerships.
Your voice is important to us.
